Just For You Dad!

Hey Dad
This Picture is just for you! D.J. and I had a good laugh when we came across this picture.

Our Wonderful Wedding Day

Here is D.J. and I walking out of the temple after our sealing cerimony. I can't even discribe what a wonderful day this was. Sorry it took so long to put these pictures up, but our photographer has been super busy and we just got our pictures back this week.

All of our family surrounded us as D.J. and I dipped into a kiss outside the temple. It was so great to have all of our family there, especially from my side because so many of them are not members, but they really supported me and D.J. and showed their love.

Look how in love we are. :) This is D.J. and I outside the temple getting our picture taken after we were married. I think D.J. looks so great in a tux, he looked like a stud that day! It is so crazy how beautiful it was that morning because later at our reception it decided to storm.

Scary Gingerbread Man

Just a little side note. If anyone is wonering why we have a freaky gingerbread man with our gingerbread house, you can ask Lisa about it. Love ya lisa :)

Our Gingerbread House!

Merry Christmas! Last night D.J. and I really got into the Holiday spirit. Mom bought us all gingerbread kits to put together because we all wanted to make gingerbread houses. So.. D.J. was in charge of the frosting and I wa in charge of decorating the house with all of the fun candy. It was really fun and I think it turned out pretty darn cute. haha
Here is D.J. and I so proud of our hard work!
And of course D.J. added his own personal touch by creating a chimney and having smoke coming out of it. (If you can even see that)

Pocatello's Light Parade

Tonight D.J. and I walked though Oldtown Pocatello to watch a traditonal light parade that comes down main street of oldtown pocatello. It was alot of fun because all the shops were serving either hot cocoa, home made bread and butter, or chilie. Others were singing christmas songs and reading children the night before christmas. D.J. and I enjoyed walking through all the shops waiting for the parade to start, but the cold was miserable. So... before the parade started we went back up to our apartment and made some hot apple cider to bring down and hoped it would warm us up. However, we didn't have any mugs to put our apple cider in so we had to use glasses. As we were walking back towards the parade people were noticing our glasses and asking us were we got the beer. We just had to laugh because we realized our apple cider really did resemble beer. But any how we had alot of fun and loved looking at all the fun floats that were decorated in christmas lights.

Turkey Day!

Here is Mom Collette cooking away, getting ready for our big thanksgiving feast! Mom and Dad put alot of effort into dinner and it was TASTY! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Here is my Grandma Houlihan, Mom, and Neally getting ready to carve our turkey for our second thanksgiving dinner! Of course Neally has to do something unusual in the picture because just smiling would be way too weird! :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

D.J. and I were lucky enought to not only have one thanksgiving dinner, but three! We ate with mom and dad at two and then went and had dinner with my mom at four. And were not done yet... we are going tomorrow to have a late dinner with my dad. although we are sick of turkey we are thankful that we were able to spend time with both our families!

3D glasses are the new style!

D.J. and I have been to a couple of 3D movies lately and love the new glasses they have come out with. They are so much better then those cheesy paper glasses that fall of your face when your watching the movie.

Here is a picture of us with our "Cool" glasses after we had just watched nightmare before christmas. We also went to see Beowulf in 3D but were disappointed in the movie. Anyhow we have enjoyed our date nights at the movies and hope they come out with more 3D films.

Tag!

Well I have only five minutes to do this because we are about to eat thanksgiving dinner! So... here it goes, my 6 weird things:
1. I have to have things in even numbers or in fives. For example on the t.v. I must have the volume on a even number or a five such as 12 or 15. It is like that in everything!

2. I also hate it when the bed has one single wrinkle in it! I love my bed spread to look fluffy and flaw free. If there is a wrinkle in it I can not walk away until i smooth it out.

3. I am paranoid about things in my teeth. If you notice every time I eat dinner I will rush to the bathroom to check my teeth once I'm done eating. I don't want to go through that embarrassing experience when someone has to tell me that I have food in my teeth.

4. I must have my hair poofed! Even if Dad or D.J. tell me I look better with unpoofed hair, I just must poof my hair! It's an obsession :)

5. I have a thing with walking weird and unable to do so in a straight line. When ever d.j. and I are walking side by side I always seem to travel towards him. This however is very annoying to d.j., but it is just something I do. I am fine when i walk alone but when i'm with someone i always seem to be right at their side or in their walking path.

6. I have a certain way of folding the laundry. d.j. would love to try and help me fold the clothes, however I am obsessive and have to do it myself. Kathy once tried to help me and I had to correct all the clothes she folded. (sorry kat)

So... there it is all my weird and crazy things about me! I hope you all have a wonderful thanksgiving and I love you all!

Wednesday, October 17, 2007

This last weekend D.J. and I were able to go home to Mom and Dad's house to spend some time with them. We had alot of fun and always love coming home. This was all of us trying to pose for the camera which was on a 10 second timer. Obviously you can see D.J. being a goof so we had to try a couple of times to get a picture we all liked. We had a great time playing cards.

Sorry Everyone our picture are sideways. I don't know how to fix that yet. We are still learning all of this stuff. :) Well... anyways D.J. and I went to the temple on Friday with our ward to do sealings. It was our first time back to the temple scence we've been married. I can't even explain at what a good feeling I get when I go to the temple and what a good experience it was to be able to do that. D.J. and I had alot of fun and plan to make it to the temple once a month. After we got done at the temple all of us went to the olive garden to go eat some dinner, but the wait was an hour so we all decided to go get dinner on our own. So D.J. and I went to this resturant called 5 n' Diner. It was kind of a fun place to go eat, because the workers are all dressed in poodle skirts and they have old music going while you eat. It was fun for a change. After we got done with the temple and dinner D.J. and I went back to Mom and Dad's house because we were watching the dogs while they were away to Dad's missionary reunion. It was a really great weekend and we both enjoyed being home and being able to watch conference on Saturday and Sunday.

Back Again!

So... Dosn't D.J. look so cute in this picture. Our bedroom is really bright so D.J. bought himself an eye mask so he was able to sleep. However, the only masks they had left were these silky purple princess once. haha I keep telling d.J. he is my little princess and he just gives me this smurk look and we both laugh. I thought you all would like to see how cute d.j. is when he is sleeping. :) Oh and by the way, my hair is no longer purple. We fixed it to just a dark dark brown. Much better but still a little scary. We love you guys.

Hello Everyone!
D.J. and I finally got some pictures up on our blog, however, we still don't have any from our cruise. D.J. and I both forgot to pack our digital cameras on our cruise so all we have were disposable pictures and arn't able to get them onto our computer. Sorry guys. We will get some of our wedding pictures up though. We just need to get the disk from our photographer. We are missing you all and will talk to you soon.

Another New Blog!

Well... D.J. and I have made another new blog! We are just not good with this computer thing. haha. But not much has changed for us from the last blog we made. D.J. has put together his own cleaning business here in Poci and I am still working at Great Harvest and will be helping D.J. clean once it gets up and running. I hope all goes well with his business, he has been very determined and working hard for success.
We have now been officially married for over one month and it has been great! We catch ourselves nagging at eachother at times but overall it has been so much fun and I love being married. D.J. has been such a great husband and very helpful around the house. I hope everyone else is doing well and we love you all!
