Dad's Recovery

Dad Collette and I had the opportunity to be patients at Mt. View Hospital together. Dad had a partial knee replacement on the day that I was admitted to be induced for labor and delivery of our precious Clayton. Here is a video of dad after his surgery. He has made an awesome recovery and it was a great experience to be patients together. :)

Clayton David Collette

Here is the newest member to our family, Clayton David Collette. Clay was born on November 19th 2010 @ 9:51 pm. He weighed 6lb 2.8 oz and 19 inches long. He is perfect and healthy as can be. I can not express my gratitude to all the family for their love a support. The delivery experience was great and D.J. and I couldn't be more happy.
This is baby Clayton after his first bath at the hospital.

Here is Clay at home in his swing looking at christmas lights on our christmas tree. This is his favorite past time, when he's not sleeping.

BABY on the WAY!

For those of you who didn't already know, D.J. and I are expecting our first baby boy. We are super excited and only 7 wks away from the BIG DAY! Here are some photos of the great babyshower that my mom, mom collette, Christine and Lisa threw for me. It was a wonderful afternoon and I'm greatful for all the things that were gifted to D.J. and I. They will come to great use.

House Renovation

Here are some photos of our renovation process that is slowly coming to an end. When we purchased our house nearly 2 years ago it was in major need of a facelift. The house was very dated w/ old shag carpet and neon yellow and blue walls. These photos below are just some photos of our kitchen both before and during the renovation. There is more that has been completed since these photos were taken. We expect another month or so and the house will be fully complete.

Cabo Trip

D.J. and I had the great opportunity last February to take a trip to Cabo San Lucas with Mom and Dad. We had an absolute blast doing nothing but relaxing. It was a 1wk long vacation that we hope to make into a tradition. Here are some pictures of our great trip:

There were so many great places to eat. I think I gained 10 lbs on this trip.

Mom and I relaxing in the golf cart while D.J. and Dad took one for the team and went golfing. :)

Another picture of us at a fantastic resturant. This was our routine everynight and it never got old. There were too many restaurants to pick that we didn't get to try them all... which means we all need to go back, Darn it.

Dad and D.J. cliff jumping while mom and I enjoyed the sun on the beach. This was a great area for snorkeling also.
Dad and D.J. enjoying the sand.... Mom and I preffered to lay ON the sand and not IN the sand.

Me and My Hunny!

Look at those two beach bums

This was the view of the mirena from our resort. Our resort couldn't have been in a better location. Everything was in walking distance, especially the great food and shops.

Every trip has to come to an end.

Almost a Year Later

So... almost a year later from my last post I've decided to take back up blogging. D.J. has been giving me a hard time about how our blog is not up to date. That is for sure! Today I hope to update everyone on the changes and updates in D.J. and I's life.
