The Memory Game!

I'm copying Celeste's blog here for a minute, but I wanted to play the memory game also. The way the game works is you write a memory that you and I share. Any type of memory that consists of you and I together. This memory dosn't have to be significant or important just a memory that you and I have together. Comment on the memory and if you do I will do the same for you. Thanks for all everyone does and have a great day!

Random Pics!

A Few random pictures I found on our Computer of D.J. and I. This was one that we took recently and I thought it would be fun to put on our blog.

D.J. and I while we were dating. We had just gone out to dinner here and were madly inlove! :)
This is a picture of me in Utah getting ready to go to a BYU game with D.J. and Lisa. Before we went into the game there was this pot luck type of thing where people were trying to crush this car with a sludge hammer. This is me trying to make a dent in the car. This was one of the first times I had really known D.J. and went out of town with him.

Our Thanksgiving Feast with our roommates!!!

Cowboys Here We Come!

We all went to the Warbonnet Roundup last Saturday and had a Great time! Here is D.J. and I struttin our stuff as Cowboys. It was a bonus because Dexter ended up riding in the Rodeo that night so were were able to watch him do his thing also.
There is Mom and Dad at the Rodeo.

Mat and Kat having a BLAST waiting for the Rodeo to begin!

Picture of my girly friends with us at the Rodeo. It was so nice of D.J. and his family to let my friends come and hang out with us. They sure are a fun couple of wild women!!

Lisa and Ebube enjoying themselves at the Rodeo also.

A Few Days in McCall, Idaho

D.J. and I drove to McCall a couple weekends ago to visit my Aunt Kelly and Uncle Chris. They are the greatest people and love to entertain company. Here we are playing a game of horse shoes after an amazing dinner at their house.

This is D.J. an I after we arrived in McCall. It was absoultely beautiful there and we had alot of fun!

The second day we were there we traveled up to a resort there in McCall called Tamerack. It is a all year resort on this mountain where people can come golf, camp, ski, hike, bike, and boat. It was pretty amazing to see all the work they had put into this great resort. Here is a picture of D.J. and I at the golf course there at Tamerack.

D.J. and I having fun in the sun. D.J. had some awsome shots of him water sking but I forgot to put them on our blog.

There is another shot of D.J. and I in front of my Aunt Kelly's house. She does such a good job with her flower bed and lawn. Everything was so pretty there.

Summer Get Together

Neally and I at my parents house having a family get together! It's always fun getting together with our families, this was a great day!

Here is D.J. and Neally outside horsing around like always. These two never quite joking around with eachother! It's pretty funny seeing them together.

A couple shots of some of the girls in our family. (Me, Great Aunt Pat, My mom, Grandma, Payton, and Aunt Shannon) I love this picture of all of us.

And of course here is a picture of my honey and I!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DJ!!!!!

It was D.J.'s birthday on July 23! I tried to make these great plans all week to surprise him but they all kept falling through so we kept this year's birthday low key. It was so nice because Lisa and Ebube came over with Christine and my parents. Thanks so much you guys for helping me celebrate Deej's birthday! We love you all. So here is a photo of D.J. scraping the wax off his birthday cake.

Here is Lis and Ebube at Mom and Dad's house helping us eat D.J.'s birthday cheese cake.

It was also really great to see Chris for a while. She came over for D.J.'s birthday also and helped me decorate mom and dad's kitchen for D.J. She also made this yummy punch to go along with our birthday treats.

Here is a couple pictures of Chris and I's masterpiece. We were able to stay at mom and dad's house for D.J.'s birthday because they were out of town so here is our decorated kitchen!

Happy Fourth of July!!!!

We had such a great fourth of July with all of D.J.'s family. Although I've already met most of them last year it was great to get to know all of them a little bit more. Here is us in the sun waiting for the parade to begin. It sure was a beautiful day, a little hot but still beautiful. I think we all had fun that morning.

Here is D.J. and I at the parade also. Dad and Mom did great at getting us a perfect spot during the parade. They really worked hard to put this all together, and it turned out GREAT!

Here are the two love birds! This was at the river while we waited for the sun to go down and for the fireworks to start. I was going to get a video of the fire works this year but D.J. and I decided to just enjoy them rather then trying to worry about videoing it. However, the fireworks were amazing like always and the climax for a perfect day.

Here is my favorite photo of the day. Here is D.J. and all of his cousins together at the river. I love seeing them all together because there always laughing and having fun no matter where their at. D.J. has such a great family and I am so lucky to be apart of it.

And last but not least, here is D.J. and I again snuggled up waiting for the firework show to start. Once the fireworks did begin D.J.'s uncle passed out these peices of plexi glass to everyone to put over their eyes so the ash from the fireworks wouldn't land in your eyes. It really was a great idea and helped a ton. However, that didn't stop the fireworks from falling on us. In the middle of the show a hudge piece of flaming amber decided to fall down on top of D.J. and I. I thought I was seriously on fire so I got out of there as quickly as i could getting ready to stop drop and roll while D.J. was on top of me trying to smother the fire out. D.J. definetly was the hero of the day. It was funny when it was over but I really was scared that I would burst into flames. So... the day came to an end and I think we all really enjoyed ourselves and loved being together with family and friends.

HEY GIRLIES!

This is a photo of my best friends who came to town for the fourth of July. It was so great to see them all. Starting on the left is me, Karlee ( who nanies in St. George), Liz ( who goes to BSU), and Lindsey (who is up at BYU-I.) I have another friend named Alissa who is married and is also going to BYU-I . She seems to be busy with married life and was unable to come down for the weekend. Anyways I these girls are amazing and I love them all. :)

More fun in the Sun!

This was in Jamaica where we were walking and shopping around the town. Kathy and I came across this little shop that was named "Jamican Bobsled Team." We could resist taking a picture. Sorry that the photo is sideways I dont know how to adjust that.

Here is D.J. and I in the formal dinning room. We ate in the dinning room nearly everynight but one. I really enjoyed this part of the cruise because of the service that was provided. It was so fun being waited on and trying new foods.

This is a blurry photo of all of us in the formal dinning room with our waitress, Epek. We all fell in love with her and her fun personality. We all had such a wonderful time. We did however miss everyone who was not able to come. There is always more fun times ahead.

Fun on the Cruise

This is a picture of d.j. and I before we boarded the ship. We were in Miami, Florida underneath a palm tree just waiting to get on that beautiful boat. It was alot of fun getting to that day but we were glad that it was finally there.

Another picture of the family waiting in the wind to get onto the cruise ship. Obviously dad was the one taking the picture because he wasn't in it.

"Bravo, Bravo, Bravo....." This was the emergency alarm informing us that the ship was sinking. :) It was funny seeing all of us in those hudge life vests. We sure had a fun time!

This was a picture from on a beach in Haydie ( I know I didn't spell that right) of our boat. I heard that it was the largest in the world. I deffinetly believe that because it was sure big and so many amazing things going on all at the same time. This day at the beach was alot of fun because it was a privately owned beach by royal caribbean themselves and there were only people from the cruise there.
This photo was taken in Jamaica where we saw this amazing man bending and twisting his body in unimaginable ways. It was so cool to watch him with his big grin. Everyone in Jamaica were very nice and happy to see the tourists. This was one of my favorite islands.

Pro Golfing In Action!

Here is just a clip from our fun day at the golfing range. As you can see both lisa and I left the golfing up to the guys. We all had alot of fun.

The Two Of Us!

Here is my hansome husband and I just finishing up at the golfing range. It was fun to go out and see D.J. hit a bucket of balls. I deffinitly need some help when it comes to golf. D.J. , however is a pro. He has really enjoyed his golf pass so far and I'm glade he is able to use it. I hope to take lessons some day so we can go golfing together.

Me and D.J.'s big golfing bag. When D.J. goes pro I've decided to be his cadie. :)

Bucket of Balls

So here is D.J. preparing to swing the golf club and make the perfect birdie. Ha ha just kidding. This is us at the golfing range hitting a bucket of balls with lisa and ebube.

Here is Lis and I acting like were pro golfers. However the majority of the time we were there, her and I sat and watched our men swing the club away. :)

Here is just another photo of us two girls enjoying the sun and having fun with our cute husbands.

New Job @ Rosemark!

So there are no pictures that go with this post, so it may be a little boring! :) But I just wanted to let people know that I got into the LPN program and I'm really excited. I also have found a job that I know I'm going to Love. I went into an interview on Tuesday at Rosemark Women's Care Specialists and thought things went pretty well. The next day I recieved a call saying they wanted to offer me a position. I obviously accepted it and I start on Monday. I am really excited for this job because it is an area in the health field where I've always wanted to be. They are allowing me to work beyond my scope of practice as a C.N.A. and work as a medical assistant so I will be able to draw blood, give injections, and start I.Vs. This will be a really good experience with me starting the LPN program because I will have hands on practice. I have however been really greatful for the previous jobs that I have experienced to allow me to get here now. I also am thankful for uncle robert allowing me to work at Aspen for a while and giving me the good experience. So.. anyways I thought I would let everyone know about our good news and I hope all goes well.
D.J. is going to work for Dad this summer and maybe take a few summer classes. Things are going well here in Idaho Falls other than we are still waiting for summer to arrive. It seems that one day it will be nice and then the next it will be snowing. I guess thats what we get when we living in Idaho. It has been great to live close to family though and it has been much better than living in Pocatello. :) We love you all and hope everyone is doing well. Loves

Easter Sunday!

This Easter was D.J. and I's first Easter together as a married couple. We both had a great day with once again, two dinners. We began Easter eatting dinner with Mom and Dad Collette after church and then rushed over to my Mom and Dad's and had our second meal with them.

Here is D.J. and I getting ready to head for church on Easter morning!

This is at my mom and dad's house. All of my sisters got together to take a photo of all us girls. It is always fun getting together with Neally's side of the family because there is so many of us. I always enjoy having all of the little kids running around the house and talking with everyone. This was deffinetly one of those days!

Here is a snap shot of my mom and I getting ready to start eatting. I just love this woman! She truly is one of my best friends!

Here is D.J. and I with Gizmo, my parent's dog. haha Where ever D.J. is, Gizmo is right there following him. Dosn't D.J. look good in pink. The easter bunny gave that to him. :)

Vacation to Twin Falls

The week before Easter D.J. and I went to Twin Falls to watch Kathy play in a basketball tournament with Mom and Dad. It was alot of fun watching Kathy play basketball and also just being able to get away for the weekend. I think the last time D.J. and I left town was when we went on our honeymoon. So.. Here are some pictures of our trip.

Here is D.J. and I standing on a bridge over the biggest gorge I've ever seen. As you can see the sun was blazing in our faces so it isn't the best picture of us. But we had fun!

Here is all of us standing on a overlook platform that allowed you to look over and into the gorge. It was really a cool view. If you looked over the edge you could see old broken shopping carts that had been thrown down by some punk kids. It actually was neat to see however very wrong of the kids. haha :)

Here is a view of the gorge!

We all were craving Chinese food on our way back home, but wasn't sure where we could find a descent chinese resturant around those parts. So.. D.J. asked his girlfriend "Alice" to direct us to the finest chinese resturant, and here we are. The food was actually very good and I think we all had a good time, except dad. The people who owned the resturant kept ordering him to do things. First it was where we were allowed to sit, next he had to move his car, and next he couldn't keep his receipt. It was all pretty funny! We decided that next time we would eat somewhere else.
