Happy Fourth of July!!!!

We had such a great fourth of July with all of D.J.'s family. Although I've already met most of them last year it was great to get to know all of them a little bit more. Here is us in the sun waiting for the parade to begin. It sure was a beautiful day, a little hot but still beautiful. I think we all had fun that morning.

Here is D.J. and I at the parade also. Dad and Mom did great at getting us a perfect spot during the parade. They really worked hard to put this all together, and it turned out GREAT!

Here are the two love birds! This was at the river while we waited for the sun to go down and for the fireworks to start. I was going to get a video of the fire works this year but D.J. and I decided to just enjoy them rather then trying to worry about videoing it. However, the fireworks were amazing like always and the climax for a perfect day.

Here is my favorite photo of the day. Here is D.J. and all of his cousins together at the river. I love seeing them all together because there always laughing and having fun no matter where their at. D.J. has such a great family and I am so lucky to be apart of it.

And last but not least, here is D.J. and I again snuggled up waiting for the firework show to start. Once the fireworks did begin D.J.'s uncle passed out these peices of plexi glass to everyone to put over their eyes so the ash from the fireworks wouldn't land in your eyes. It really was a great idea and helped a ton. However, that didn't stop the fireworks from falling on us. In the middle of the show a hudge piece of flaming amber decided to fall down on top of D.J. and I. I thought I was seriously on fire so I got out of there as quickly as i could getting ready to stop drop and roll while D.J. was on top of me trying to smother the fire out. D.J. definetly was the hero of the day. It was funny when it was over but I really was scared that I would burst into flames. So... the day came to an end and I think we all really enjoyed ourselves and loved being together with family and friends.

HEY GIRLIES!

This is a photo of my best friends who came to town for the fourth of July. It was so great to see them all. Starting on the left is me, Karlee ( who nanies in St. George), Liz ( who goes to BSU), and Lindsey (who is up at BYU-I.) I have another friend named Alissa who is married and is also going to BYU-I . She seems to be busy with married life and was unable to come down for the weekend.
