Pocatello's Light Parade

Tonight D.J. and I walked though Oldtown Pocatello to watch a traditonal light parade that comes down main street of oldtown pocatello. It was alot of fun because all the shops were serving either hot cocoa, home made bread and butter, or chilie. Others were singing christmas songs and reading children the night before christmas. D.J. and I enjoyed walking through all the shops waiting for the parade to start, but the cold was miserable. So... before the parade started we went back up to our apartment and made some hot apple cider to bring down and hoped it would warm us up. However, we didn't have any mugs to put our apple cider in so we had to use glasses. As we were walking back towards the parade people were noticing our glasses and asking us were we got the beer. We just had to laugh because we realized our apple cider really did resemble beer. But any how we had alot of fun and loved looking at all the fun floats that were decorated in christmas lights.

Turkey Day!

Here is Mom Collette cooking away, getting ready for our big thanksgiving feast! Mom and Dad put alot of effort into dinner and it was TASTY! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Here is my Grandma Houlihan, Mom, and Neally getting ready to carve our turkey for our second thanksgiving dinner! Of course Neally has to do something unusual in the picture because just smiling would be way too weird! :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

D.J. and I were lucky enought to not only have one thanksgiving dinner, but three! We ate with mom and dad at two and then went and had dinner with my mom at four. And were not done yet... we are going tomorrow to have a late dinner with my dad. although we are sick of turkey we are thankful that we were able to spend time with both our families!

3D glasses are the new style!

D.J. and I have been to a couple of 3D movies lately and love the new glasses they have come out with. They are so much better then those cheesy paper glasses that fall of your face when your watching the movie.

Here is a picture of us with our "Cool" glasses after we had just watched nightmare before christmas. We also went to see Beowulf in 3D but were disappointed in the movie. Anyhow we have enjoyed our date nights at the movies and hope they come out with more 3D films.

Tag!

Well I have only five minutes to do this because we are about to eat thanksgiving dinner! So... here it goes, my 6 weird things:
1. I have to have things in even numbers or in fives. For example on the t.v. I must have the volume on a even number or a five such as 12 or 15. It is like that in everything!

2. I also hate it when the bed has one single wrinkle in it! I love my bed spread to look fluffy and flaw free. If there is a wrinkle in it I can not walk away until i smooth it out.

3. I am paranoid about things in my teeth. If you notice every time I eat dinner I will rush to the bathroom to check my teeth once I'm done eating. I don't want to go through that embarrassing experience when someone has to tell me that I have food in my teeth.

4. I must have my hair poofed! Even if Dad or D.J. tell me I look better with unpoofed hair, I just must poof my hair! It's an obsession :)

5. I have a thing with walking weird and unable to do so in a straight line. When ever d.j. and I are walking side by side I always seem to travel towards him. This however is very annoying to d.j., but it is just something I do. I am fine when i walk alone but when i'm with someone i always seem to be right at their side or in their walking path.

6. I have a certain way of folding the laundry. d.j. would love to try and help me fold the clothes, however I am obsessive and have to do it myself. Kathy once tried to help me and I had to correct all the clothes she folded. (sorry kat)

So... there it is all my weird and crazy things about me! I hope you all have a wonderful thanksgiving and I love you all!

No Pictures Today!

Well everyone.... Thanksgiving is just around the corner! I can't believe how the time has been flying by. This last week was Halloween and D.J. and I stayed at Mom and Dad's house while they went to Amy, Chase, and Carter's house. It was fun spending time with Kathy and Mathew and we get to do it again next week. We are all getting excited for Christmas and can't wait to see you all for the holidays. We miss you and hope everyone is doing well. Sorry we don't have any new pictures up, Im not too good at having my camera with me. :(
