New Job @ Rosemark!

So there are no pictures that go with this post, so it may be a little boring! :) But I just wanted to let people know that I got into the LPN program and I'm really excited. I also have found a job that I know I'm going to Love. I went into an interview on Tuesday at Rosemark Women's Care Specialists and thought things went pretty well. The next day I recieved a call saying they wanted to offer me a position. I obviously accepted it and I start on Monday. I am really excited for this job because it is an area in the health field where I've always wanted to be. They are allowing me to work beyond my scope of practice as a C.N.A. and work as a medical assistant so I will be able to draw blood, give injections, and start I.Vs. This will be a really good experience with me starting the LPN program because I will have hands on practice. I have however been really greatful for the previous jobs that I have experienced to allow me to get here now. I also am thankful for uncle robert allowing me to work at Aspen for a while and giving me the good experience. So.. anyways I thought I would let everyone know about our good news and I hope all goes well.
D.J. is going to work for Dad this summer and maybe take a few summer classes. Things are going well here in Idaho Falls other than we are still waiting for summer to arrive. It seems that one day it will be nice and then the next it will be snowing. I guess thats what we get when we living in Idaho. It has been great to live close to family though and it has been much better than living in Pocatello. :) We love you all and hope everyone is doing well. Loves

Easter Sunday!

This Easter was D.J. and I's first Easter together as a married couple. We both had a great day with once again, two dinners. We began Easter eatting dinner with Mom and Dad Collette after church and then rushed over to my Mom and Dad's and had our second meal with them.

This is at my mom and dad's house. All of my sisters got together to take a photo of all us girls. It is always fun getting together with Neally's side of the family because there is so many of us. I always enjoy having all of the little kids running around the house and talking with everyone. This was deffinetly one of those days!

Vacation to Twin Falls

The week before Easter D.J. and I went to Twin Falls to watch Kathy play in a basketball tournament with Mom and Dad. It was alot of fun watching Kathy play basketball and also just being able to get away for the weekend. I think the last time D.J. and I left town was when we went on our honeymoon. So.. Here are some pictures of our trip.

Here is D.J. and I standing on a bridge over the biggest gorge I've ever seen. As you can see the sun was blazing in our faces so it isn't the best picture of us. But we had fun!

Here is all of us standing on a overlook platform that allowed you to look over and into the gorge. It was really a cool view. If you looked over the edge you could see old broken shopping carts that had been thrown down by some punk kids. It actually was neat to see however very wrong of the kids. haha :)

We all were craving Chinese food on our way back home, but wasn't sure where we could find a descent chinese resturant around those parts. So.. D.J. asked his girlfriend "Alice" to direct us to the finest chinese resturant, and here we are. The food was actually very good and I think we all had a good time, except dad. The people who owned the resturant kept ordering him to do things. First it was where we were allowed to sit, next he had to move his car, and next he couldn't keep his receipt. It was all pretty funny! We decided that next time we would eat somewhere else.

I'm In!!!

Just real quick I wanted everyone to know that I was accepted into Eastern Idaho's Techncial College's Licenced Practical Nursing Program. I recieved my letter of acceptance on Thursday night and am totally thrilled about getting into my program. My remaining plans are to start my program in the middle of May, get a break during July and August and then restart classes in September and continue until next May where I will be officially a LPN. I'm really excited because I now have a set time when I will be done with school and then will be able to work for a year or two until D.J. and I start having children of our own. I'm really happy things worked out the way they did and I'm greatful for everyone's support. I hope everyone is doing well and thanks for everything. Just a little up date with D.J. as well. He is doing great and excited about working for Dad this summer as well as being able to golf again. He has really missed golfing over the winter and will be back on the courses in no time. I don't have any pictures to post right now however I do have some that will be coming soon! Have a great night everyone and we love you.

Wii It Up!!!

This is my cute husband playing tennise on Ebube's new Wii! it is alot of fun, even I enjoy it. It's a great way to have fun and get a little bit of exercise. haha :) I have a feeling D.J. will be wanting a wii here pretty soon.

So here is a great video of D.J. and Ebube playing the Wii! Me and Lisa couldn't stop laughing at our men getting into tennis. While d.J. and Ebube got their exercise Lisa and I played cards. It has really been fun having Lisa and Ebube live so close to us. We have had alot of fun together and I'm sure theres more to come.

TEAS TEST HERE I COME

Today I had the "wonderful"opportunity to go take my TEAS exam. It is an exam that tests me on general studies such as Math, Reading, Science, and English. I feel like I have been studying for months, however it has only been a few weeks. So this morning I woke up and while I got ready D.J. made me breakfast. I had to be to the school a little before 9:00 A.M. so I hurried out the door. The exam is three hours long so after I finished my heart was pounding to see the results. The lady who was in charge lead me out into the hall and went through my results subject by subject. I was so relieved when she finally told me that I had passed. My hands were shaking and my heart was beating like crazy so it was deffinetly exciting to know that I had passed and was able to apply for the Licences Practical Nursing program here in Idaho. I have been gathering all the things needing for my application packet and it is now officialy complete now that I have passed this dumb test. I turn in my application on Monday and wait to hear if I was accepted or not. It should take about a month to hear back so keep your fingers crossed. It has really been a blessing to have gotten this far. I transfered from ISU to EITC and was surprised when I was able to get into all my prereque classes and still have time to take this test and apply to the LPN program. Thanks to Dad and D.J. they really helped me get where I needed to be.

OUR NEW HOME!

Here are some pictures of our apartment here in Idaho Falls. We absolutely love having our own home and are so greatful for dad allowing us to stay at his house for a long while. Here is our kitchen, although it is a little small I love cooking dinner for D.J. and I. I have been attempting new recipes and so far things are going good.

Here is our room and our bed without a head and foot board. I guess we should be greatful we have a bed. haha if you notice D.J. is using his safe as his night stand. I took the only night stand we had.

This is my wonderful craft desk that I got for chirstmas. I am inlove with it. Our apartment has been great because we have an extra bedroom so this is where our computer and my craft desk goes. It really makes a big difference having an extra room.

This is our living room. It really feels like home here and we spend most of our time in this room. D.J. and I don't have cable so we have been watching alot of movies on these couches.
