It was D.J.'s birthday on July 23! I tried to make these great plans all week to surprise him but they all kept falling through so we kept this year's birthday low key. It was so nice because Lisa and Ebube came over with Christine and my parents. Thanks so much you guys for helping me celebrate Deej's birthday! We love you all. So here is a photo of D.J. scraping the wax off his birthday cake.

It was also really great to see Chris for a while. She came over for D.J.'s birthday also and helped me decorate mom and dad's kitchen for D.J. She also made this yummy punch to go along with our birthday treats.
Here is a couple pictures of Chris and I's masterpiece. We were able to stay at mom and dad's house for D.J.'s birthday because they were out of town so here is our decorated kitchen!
